In the rolling hills of Cookeville, Tennessee, our story began in May 2018 when the Fortunato Family took a leap of faith and purchased 15 acres of untamed possibility.
What started as a dream quickly turned into reality—and a muddy one at that. As we broke ground on our log home, we found ourselves knee-deep in Tennessee clay, working through rain and shine to build our forever home from the ground up. Those muddy boots and determined spirits became such a defining part of our journey that the name for our homestead became obvious: Muddy Acres Farm.
Our log home now stands as a testament to perseverance, family teamwork, and the belief that hard work pays off for those willing to get their hands dirty. From those first challenging days in the mud, we've transformed this land into a thriving family farm where we can live close to the earth and the values we cherish.
Today, Muddy Acres is our little slice of Tennessee heaven—a place where family traditions take root and grow alongside our gardens and animals. We invite you to follow our continuing journey as we build something special on this land that captured our hearts from the very beginning.
